💧 OCTOBER WATER BILL REMINDER 💧
October water bills for Seneca Water District #1 have been mailed and should be getting to customers within the week. As a friendly reminder, October is Water Relevy Month. Any unpaid water balances remaining at the close of business on Monday, November 2, 2026, will be relevied onto the Town and County Property Tax Bills. Please take note of the following important dates: 💧 Water Bill Due Date: October 31, 2026 💳 Credit Card Payment Deadline: October 26, 2026 ✉️ Mail/Postmark Deadline: October 31, 2026 🏛️ Walk-In & Drop Box Deadline: CLOSE OF BUSINESS on November 2, 2026 This deadline has been extended because October 31 falls on a Saturday. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING MAILED PAYMENTS: If you are mailing your payment close to the October 31 deadline, we strongly recommend taking your envelope directly to the Post Office and asking a postal clerk to hand-cancel it with the proper postmark date. This will provide clear verification that your payment was mailed by the required deadline. If your payment does not have a postmark of at-least October 31st or earlier, the payment will not be accepted. Please plan accordingly and submit your payment by the applicable deadline. Once unpaid balances have been turned over to Ontario County for relevy, the Town can no longer accept payment on those balances. |
REMINDER
October is our water re-levy month! As many of you know, our town does not shut water service off for non-payment. As of 10/31, any unpaid water bills for the year will roll over onto the property tax bill. Mailed payments need to be postmarked by 10/31. Our online payment module, Quickpay, does an automatic shut off on 10/31 as well. Quickpay will be back up and running for the January Billing.
